The state of the website

No offense, I'm not trying to flame or put you down or anything, but the website could use a little lovin' right now. Just a few thoughts.

-There's still launch info, like the class poll on the sidebar, and the official launch server info in the scrolling text.

-Also, scrolling text...

-A functioning calendar would make it easier to keep up on guild events. Especially for people who are in more than one community/guild. (I have 3 groups/forums to keep up on)

-There are two search bars, and a facebook button that nobody uses.

-I like the random screenshot preview in the sidebar, but it should be a little bigger, and near the top so we can see it on every page.

-There are also a few small tweaks to make it more visually pleasing. (fixed width, margin art, distinct sidebar borders)

This is where I concede that I'm not very good at websites or forums beyond basic structure.

I create databases and fix aircraft, so it's easy to see where I fall short on the visual aesthetics portion of the forums. I will make changes and updates (yes I have noticed the outdated polls/headline). But the forum skin and and images and shit like that are either A) out of my budget (of free) or B) out of my expertise.

FIX IT BURNOUT. YOU DO THINGS LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME. PLUS I AM TO LAZY.

Also, as for the calender thing, you can add events to the calender when you create a topic.

Thank you for the website in the first place, and thank you for making some of the changes. I didn't know that you could add stuff to the calendar.

But yeah, for future reference, I know php and dabble in photoshop if you ever need anything done.

Edit: I can turn this post into a calendar event, but not the actual event post.... I feel there are some misplaced restrictions

its the original topic post that you can do it in. Try editing your dungeon event for sunday, for instance and keep in mind that board is in central time
